Whooooo... There's not much to do. >_<

In light of my recently procured photobucket account, I've decided to put the first Megaman Next (fake) screenshot up for the Majutsukai-reading public (a small minority, I'm aware) to see.





And info on the robot masters, clockwise from the top left corner:

1. Bibleman
>Stage: The Bible Cave
>Weapon: Spirit Sword
>Weakness: Pop Quiz
>Weapon info: A beam sword that Bibleman most definitely did not steal from George Lucas. No way.
>Origin: This guy's a real TV superhero, and one so patently absurd it's funny. That's why I couldn't resist making this guy, for laughs. Official Website
>Comments: The first Robot Master sprite I designed; I edited him from Woodman's head and arms, and Knightman's body. This one probably took the most editing.

2. Milkman
>Stage: Dairyland
>Weapon: Curdled Cannon
>Weakness: Ushi Crush
>Weapon Info: Fire a burst of milk that's just curdled enough to disgust foes into submission, without being so curdled as to knock out its user.
>Origin: This guy appears in a Flash Movie that I saw (He appears in an easter egg at the end) that was just so funny, I decided to make an 8-bit sprite of him. When I looked at this sprite, next to my Bibleman sprite, I got the idea to start this spriting project. I also made a 16-bit version of him from Heatman's Database graphic from Rockman & Forte, but I probably won't post it here. Please note-- that is, PLEASE NOTE-- I take NO credit for the invention of this character. NONE.
>Comments: You can tell easily which robot master I used as a base for this one. It took relatively little editing, but I still had to draw a fair amount by hand.

3. Blademan Man
>Stage: Sharp Pointy Objects place (read: still thinking one up. ><;;)
>Weapon: Whirling Blade
>Weakness: Woot Wave
>Weapon Info: Summons a shield composed of various sharp, pointy, and otherwise dangerous objects. Not reccomended for children under 3.
>Origin: This is a reference to a joke in a Strong Bad Email (Email Personal Favorites). Somehow, the sprite just ended up being a tricked out Coach Z.
>Comments: OK, I can take VERY LITTLE credit for the spriting here. I made the base Coach Z sprite by taking a screencap of the music video at the end of New Boots and NES-ized it, then added armor upgrades, then blade-arms based on Yamatoman's spearheads. I don't think the sprite took the transition to 8-bit color very well. x_x

4. Wootman
>Stage: Wily.net server
>Weapon: Woot Wave
>Weakness: Recount Avalanche
>Weapon Info: An energy wave shaped like a :). Splits into three smaller ^o^s when it hits an enemy.
>Origin: "Woot" is a word commonly heard in IM conversations that my friends and I participate in. This idea popped into my head, and I had to do it. ^^
>Comments: The body base is a little obvious, but the head isn't so much. I got the body from Yamatoman, and edited the shoulderpad-like things from the wings on his helmet. And, obviously, edited out his spear. And had to redraw a little bit of his hand because of it. The head came from Gyroman, and that was a little more heavily edited. I added the W-shaped thing on the back of his head by mixing Crash Bomb and some hand-drawn goodness.

5. PhDman
>Stage: Met U ((Go Mets! XD))
>Weapon: Pop Quiz
>Weakness: Glass Stomp
>Weapon Info: Overwhelm foes with book-learnin by firing this boomerang-like quiz that's impervious to cram-session studying.
>Origin: OK, I'll admit it. I just invented this guy so I could have a good weakness for Bibleman. XD
>Comments: Maybe you can tell, maybe you can't, but I actually got his head from Bubbleman. A little disconcerting, because now he actually has a mouth. XD His body came from Crystal Man, and I drew the lab coat in myself.

6. Cinderellaman
>Stage: Royal Ballroom
>Weapon: Glass Stomp
>Weakness: Curdled Cannon
>Weapon Info: Fires a Glass Slipper in an arc to stomp down on and puncture foes with an uncomfortably sharp heel.
>Origin: I heard Taylor talking about the movie by the same name, and I was struck by just how much it sounded like a robot master. I started thinking, and this was the eventual result. And no, even if I had seen the movie, I wouldn't have made Cinderellaman a boxer.
>Comments: Her head comes from a slightly edited version of Roll, while her body is Skull Man with the dress hand-drawn in, and obviously, the rib cage edited out. I originally wanted to put a crown on her, but she ended up looking too much like Waveman. >_<

7. Ushiman
>Stage: Cow Canyon
>Weapon: Ushi Crush
>Weakness: Whirling Blade
>Weapon Info: Gain 300 pounds and crash bodily onto foes from above. Also good for breaking open secret passageways.
>Origin: "Ushi" is probably the most well-used Japanese word in my group of friends, to the point of being an inside joke of sorts. It got its start with Taylor's obsession with cows that is at the same time strange and endearing.
>Comments: His head comes from Centaurman, with his front horn edited out, and his body comes from geminiman. I added in the spots and the tail, as well as making the feet look a little like hooves.

8. Politicianman
>Stage: Polling Station
>Weapon: Recount Avalanche
>Weakness: Spirit Sword
>Weapon Info: Creates a wave of falling ballots that Politicianman is still sure weren't properly counted.
>Origin: I was stuck for a Robot Master to make next, Taylor supplied the name, and I went to work. ^^
>Comments: The head comes from Flash man-- His chin was just PERFECT for that of a politician. XD I can't remember, but I think his body was from Shadowman. Helmet edited out, and hair, suit, and tie edited in by me.



I've started picking out a soundtrack, and designing stages (in my head at least), but this is not going to become an actual game. It's just a parody work.

Other than that, I got HP6 yesterday. ^_________^ It's taking Herculean effort not to just finish it off very quickly, because the story is very interesting. I loves it! :p
