Hey everyone, welcome to the first entry of a true n00b. You'll have to forgive the simplistic layout this journal has right now; I'm still experimenting with all of Livejournal's features. Let's call this entry "The guinea pig entry". ^^
Don't expect anything more than sporadic updates to this thing, any further than the deadly combination of my bad memory, school- and homework-filled schedule, and just plain circumstances will allow. Which isn't too often, as the few people that follow my webpage know all too well. Besides that, I'll try to update as often as possible.
The emptiness of that promise aside, I think it's time to start on the actual entry-- that part that makes it a "journal". Yeah, go figure.
Anyways. It's... *checks calender*... four days till Christmas. Beings that I live in two different households, I have to produce twice the Christmas-listage of the average person my age (of course, I think that my parents and step-mom are the only ones in the world that ask lists of their children at this age... but I digress.), and I have an annoying habit of not being able to think of what to put on them. However, if I get half the things on my lists, then this year will be a bountiful one indeed... Let me give you an idea of some of the stuff that I've requested (this should also give you something of an insight into my interests as well):
>1. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA)-- Ah, yes, the coveted gift. And the expensive one. @_@
>2. Banjo-Tooie (N64)-- I may be even more excited over this one than the first (Don't smite me!); I've raked the prequel clean, and rented this a few years back, thouroughly enjoying it; so, I think it's high time I added it to my permanent repetoire.
>3. Yu-Gi-Oh Starter Deck -- Right now, my collection of cards consists of 20 mismatched cards assembled from various booster packs; I've never played an actual duel, and I WANT to, dammit!
>4. strongbad_email.exe DVD -- No words are needed for this one. Homestar is god. GOD, I TELL YOU!
>5. Final Fantasy Chronicles (PSX)-- This little gem is all I need to complete my collection of Final Fantasy...er... collections. Except for the GBA FF1 and FF2... I'm STILL mad about them releasing those damned games (super cool added features and all) RIGHT after I got my grubby paws on the PSX versions. The NERVE of Square-Enix...
>6. Japanese reference -- Japanese class is just teaching too little, too slowly. I MUST LEARN!!! *snarl*
Aand, that's it. Well, not everyting, just the important stuff. And, with the remaining... *checks watch*... Four days and eight minutes until Christmas, quite frankly, I can't wait. ^^ I know, it's childish of me. Who cares, really?
Anyways, that'll wrap up my first entry. *reads back* GOD, it ended up being longer than I expected... Don't expect that to happen again, either, people... I think I just exhausted my repetoire of things to talk about. >_
