Exhibit A: Bottomless Pit. Falling into this will kill you.
Exhibit B: The boss's weak point. Note its small size, and the fact that it is suspended precariously over Exhibit A.
Exhibit C: Grolla, the player character. Note that she is using a sword, a short-range weapon. (She also apparently blinked when this screenshot was taken. Bad Grolla.)
Exhibit D: Projectiles and minions being summoned by Exhibit B. This screenshot was taken during the first second or so of the battle, but given a few moments, these quickly flood the area, making them very difficult to dodge. Contact with any of them while lunging for Exhibit B will easily send Exhibit C tumbling helplessly into Exhibit A.
Not Shown: Number of failed attempts. Probably approaching 50 by now.
And THIS... is what is frustrating Matt today.
