Nov. 28th, 2009 07:28 pmSo Pandora has led me to discover that I like emo music.
Why do I like emo music guys
All the music I wind up liking, and it's the sort of stuff that people say, like, "dude, why do you like that whiny emo crap?" to. And it's weirding me out.
Like this, wtf
And this band is awesome, (but I already knew I liked them).
And even some stuff by Linkin Park, wut.
I don't care about the lyrics or anything, I just like the music. Pandora seems to be suggesting that "subtle use of vocal harmony" is the common thread between a very large number of the songs I like. They all seem to have this particular sound that I really like, and I don't pay attention to the lyrics. It cropped up in a lot of Nightwish-related stuff, too, which I like. "Minor Key tonality" is another one that pops up a lot.
So, in short, check out Pandora. You'll be surprised at what you like. O.o;;;
